 Barranco was founded in 1874 as San Jose de Surco and is considered to be the city's mos romantic and bohemian as the home of several artists.
  In our two days around Lima, we passed through the Barranco District several times but never really stopped to see the details.
  Below are a couple interresting examples of modern architecture that we saw.
